Limited Release Single Barrels

Our precisely crafted mix of grains include 63% corn for just enough bourbon sweetness, 34% wheat for a gentle mellow feel, and a small amount of barley for the perfectly balanced wheater. Featured in Wine Enthusiast's "10 Bottles that prove some of the best bourbon isn't from Kentucky". Bottled at 90 proof.

Named after the historic Bradford Hotel, each bottle from our Bradford Single Barrel Collection is personally signed by Tim Daniels, Master Distiller, and includes the barrel number, date, and ABV. Bottled at barrel ABV averaging between 115 and 118 proof.

No two barrels are exactly alike.

BOURBON 101

All bourbon is whiskey but not all whiskey is bourbon

Bourbon must adhere to strict standards regulated by the federal government.

  • Bourbon must be produced in the United States. It's America's Native Spirit
  • Bourbon must contain at least a 51% corn mash bill
  • Must be aged in new oak-charred barrels insuring the maximum depth of flavor
  • Must be distilled to no more than 160 proof and enter the barrel at 125 proof to maintain flavor from the grains
  • Must be bottled at no less than 80 proof
  • Must not contain any added flavoring , coloring, or other additives that other whiskey's allow

The Mash Bill

is fancy distiller talk meaning a recipe that is generally grouped into a category.  All contain at least 51% corn, other ingredients are at the discretion of the distiller.  The Categories include:

  • Traditional bourbon
  • High Corn bourbon
  • High Rye bourbon
  • Wheated bourbon

The more traditional bourbons contain 8 to 12 percent rye, giving them a taste of some spice and heat noticeable through the finish. Using wheat instead of rye allows the flavor of the sweeter grains, with notes of vanilla and caramel, to be more prominent.  Wheated bourbon has a delightfully smooth finish and mouth-feel, making them very easy to sip neat or on the rocks.
