Our Bourbon

Gunnar’s Bourbon is a Kansas-born wheated bourbon crafted for balance, smoothness, and character. By using wheat as the secondary grain in the mash bill instead of rye, our bourbon delivers a softer, more approachable flavor profile while still offering the depth and richness bourbon drinkers expect.

Rooted in Kansas agriculture and built on traditional bourbon methods, every expression of Gunnar’s reflects a commitment to quality ingredients, careful aging, and craftsmanship.

Our lineup highlights the versatility of wheated bourbon.

Heritage Wheated Bourbon

Our flagship bourbon, Heritage Wheated Bourbon is smooth, balanced, and approachable. The mash bill includes 63% corn for natural sweetness, 34% wheat for a mellow character, and a touch of malted barley to round out the flavor.

Bottled at 90 proof, Heritage offers notes of caramel, vanilla, and soft oak, making it equally enjoyable neat, on the rocks, or in a classic bourbon cocktail.

Bradford Single Barrel

Named after the historic Bradford Hotel where Gunnar’s first began, the Bradford Single Barrel Collection showcases the unique character that develops in each individual barrel.

Every bottle includes the barrel number, bottling date, and ABV. Bottled at barrel proof, these releases typically range between 115 and 118 proof.

Because each barrel ages differently, no two bottles are exactly alike. Single barrel releases highlight deeper oak influence, richer caramel notes, and bold flavor.

Gunnar’s Honey

Gunnar’s Honey blends our Heritage Bourbon with real raw Kansas honey from T-Creek Bees & Honey in Berryton, Kansas. The result is a naturally sweet spirit that still carries the warmth and character of bourbon.

Made without artificial flavors, colors, or additives, Gunnar’s Honey is smooth, balanced, and approachable.

Because we use real, unfiltered honey, some natural settling may occur. Simply shake gently before pouring, or store the bottle chilled to help keep the honey evenly blended.

Bottled at 70 proof, it’s perfect served chilled, over ice, or mixed into simple cocktails.
